"Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful
unto me... |
|
until
these calalmities be overpast." Psalms 57:1 |
People would argue that castastrophies
are nothing new, that they have been taking place since time
began.
Time (the consequence of error) brought
death, the evidence of sin. "The wages of sin is death."
Sin is error, and man's error brings death.
And God saw the wickedness of man
was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts
of the heart was only evil continually. Genesis 6:5
What followed was the flood, symbolizing
the flood of spiritual and physical evilness that is quickly
rising upon the earth.
I form the light, and create darkness:
I make peace, and create evil...
Isaiah 45:7.
God created evil, meaning he had the
idea or concept of evil, but God did not form/make evil.
God did not bring evil into existence.
He only created the possibility for it to manifest itself if
man chose to accept it into his heart.
Why would God create evil in the first
place?
To give man preeminence, superior to
those creations that only knew good, giving man the power and
authority to choose between two opposing thoughts, between the
good and evil or right and wrong thoughts that would enter into
his mind.
Now the serpent was more subtil
than any beast of the field, which the Lord God hath made. And
he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat
of every tree of the garden?
The serpent was the catalyst,
serving to percipitate this power and authority within Eve, the
power to know or acknowledge the good and evil through experience,
and the authority to than choose between them. The word "serpent"
means " learn by experience."
And the woman said unto the serpent,
We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the
fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath
said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest
ye die... good seed of thought
(truth).
And the serpent said unto the woman,
Ye shall not surely die:... evil
seed of thought (lie).
For God doth know that in the day
ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall
be as gods, knowing good and evil.
Eve already knew good and evil. She was
given the good thought followed by the evil thought. And she
already was a god, made in the image of God, having not only
the power to take in two opposing thoughts, but the authority
to give power to whichever one she chose by accepting it into
her heart.
Eve
listened to the serpent, the Mind perceiving a thought
that was not the truth. This error in thinking (a seed of thought)
was sin being created in the mind. Then Adam ate of it,
the Heart accepting the erroneous thought as truth. The
thought of the mind became a belief of the heart, the seed of
thought sown within the heart, sin conceived, which formed
the sinful flesh, the "coats of skin"
that would be subject to death through the passing of time. Time
and death were the consequence for the error or sin. When man
chose to accept the evil seeds of false beliefs into his heart
he relinquished his spiritual and physical protection, which
the garden symbolizes.
And it shall come to pass, while
my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock,
and will cover thee with my hand
while I pass by. And I will take
away my hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my
face shall not be seen. Exodus 33:22,23
The hand symbolizes power.
Moses has already experienced the power of God in Egypt. He has
already experienced the protection that accompanies God's power,
which comes with obeying the spiritual word of God... by doing
the spiritual works!
God is Alpha and Omega, having no
beginning and no end. A circle.
Picture yourself facing God. Now turn
around and start walking away from God, following the circle
that is God. Eventually you will find yourself facing God's back,
His back parts. This is where mankind is right
now, facing God's back, far removed from the spiritual power
and protection of God. It is not God that has turned His back
on man, but man who has turned his back on God. Man's spiritual
wickedness is releasing a negative and destructive energy that
is manifesting itself in the form of bigger and more powerful
storms, in more powerful earthquakes, and in other mega castastrophic
events (calamities).
Be merciful unto me, O God, be
merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow
of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calalmities be
overpast. Psalms 57:1
A culminative effort to put our sin
in remission will lessen the intensity of these castastrophic
events.
And God saw the wickedness of man
was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts
of the heart was only evil continually... Genesis 6:5
For out of the heart proceed evil
thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness,
blasphemies: Matthew 15:19
...But Noah found grace in the
eyes of the Lord. Genesis 6:8
After the waters receded God made a covenant
with Noah, with his seed after him, and with every living creature
that was with Noah. The covenant that God established with Noah
was that flesh would never be cut off by the waters of a flood
again, and that there would not be a flood to destroy the earth.
The definition of a covenent
is a binding agreement made by two or more persons.
This covenant was made with Noah, who found grace
in the eyes of the Lord because he was righteous.
If one party breaks the covenant, the
covenant becomes null and void. Man has broken his covenant with
God through unrighteousness.
Be watchful, and strengthen the
things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found
thy works perfect before God. Revelation 3:2 (King James).
Become vigilant, and strengthen
(be strong about) the
remaining things which were about to die; for I have not found
thy works fully performed in the presence of my God. Revelation
3:2 (original Greek).
In performing our six days of spiritual
works we are able to see our sin and remove it, transforming
the destructive energy of the HEART, doing our part to remove
the destructive energy being released upon the EARTH, entering
into God's protection. When enough of us do this important heart
work will we begin to see a receding of the waters, and a lessening
of intensity or degree (an abatement) of these castastrophic
events.
