the teachings
1960-1974; 1975-1994;
1998-2005
The foundation for these
teachings was layed over a period
of 14 years between 1960 and 1974 by a man of Spirit.
In 1975, at the age of twenty-three I met this man and began
a 19 year-long study in order to learn these teachings. They
are the result of divine inspiration and intense study, an important
part of which was the painstaking task of taking many of the
words of the Old
Testament back to their Hebrew root, where
the life is.
These teachings were
pure in their truth, coming through a mind that was free of preconceived
ideas with respect to God's word, out of a heart void not only
of religious beliefs, but of the emotional pain that is oftentimes
associated with these man-made doctrines of religion. There was
no mental or emotional filter to distort this foundation of pure
knowledge.
"Tread out
the understanding."
These are the
words this man of God spoke to me prior to his death in October
of 1994.
In March of 1997 I was
moved with great force... up out of a spiritual stagnation that
lasted two and half years, and into what might best be
described as a tearing down process that lasted thirty one days,
April 1st 1997 marking a new beginning. In the darkness
created by the elimination of the light of my own understanding
the holy spirit of my heart, now void of all misconceptions
I had with regard to these teachings, was free to bring me into
a deeper spiritual understanding of the Biblical text.
In the fall of 1998,
after reading a book called "The Bible Code"
I awoke to these words:
" atomic holocaust.
2006. You know the answer to that. You know the
answer."
This led to a question
and answer session that lasted 3 months. Whatever question I
asked before going to sleep would be answered the next morning,
at precisely 3AM. What I received was a revelation
of the symbolic code of the Bible, which reveals spiritual events,
as the mathematical code of the Bible reveals physical events.
It would be a revelation that would take seven years to come
to fruition, the context of which is contained in both THE
BIBLE DECODED and THE LITTLE BOOK for the soul.
These teachings, spanning
40 years, are unique in that they are not derived from any teachings
that have come before. They originated from that internal source
that exists within us all; that internal anointing that flows
freely through a mind that has been silenced of all preconceived
ideas with respect to the word of God, via a heart that has been
made void of all false religious beliefs.
the name
The name "Gilead" (selected for the Publishing
Company the author established in 1999 to publish the works that
were to follow) was chosen in recognition of this man of God,
who received this name along with 33 years of foundational teachings.
The word Gilead means heap of testimony, heap of dung, heap of stones.
For some these teachings
will be a heap of testimony, a witness to what they already understand
from within their own heart to be true. For some they
will be a heap of dung, conflicting with what they have been
taught through the man-made doctrines of religion. And for others
still they will be the means by which they pass over into a new
way of life, 12 stones or steps that lead us from bondage to
freedom!
the dream
the author's very powerful
dream from 12/21/98:
I was in a house. There
was a man in the house. I knew he was some sort of scholar. Next
I was in another room in the house. Something was going on in
there. Something like watching TV or playing games, but whatever
it was it was not important. The man came in and motioned me
to come into the main room… the living room. The scholar
had heard two clues. He told them to me. The second clue
was: "look behind you." The man was at the front
door (the door was open) when he heard this second clue. He was
facing me, so he turned around to look behind him. He saw nothing.
I immediately went over to a large picture glass window next
to the door and looked out. There I saw men, standing in a line,
across. I knew I was the only one that could see them. I started
to count them. I counted them from right to left. As I began
to count them some of them were moving. They were putting themselves
in the correct order, so in the beginning it was a little difficult
to count them, but as I got further down the line it was easier
because they were all in their places. I counted 18 or 19. They
faded away, down to the last one who signaled me over to the
house across the street. I went over to the scholar who was sitting
in a chair. I said to him, "I hope you can write like hell
" because I knew we were going to get a lot of information.
The scholar and I then went into the other room to get this third
person. I signaled to her to come on. The scholar signals to
her to come on. She stays behind. At this point it is as if the
scholar and I are one. The two of us go over. We walk up to the
house and enter. The person I'm with sits down in a chair. I
pass by an animal that is sleeping on the floor. After passing
him I proceed to sit on the floor. It is carpeted with white
shag-like carpet, and there is a golden glow in the room like
a fireplace would reflect. I set down in front of me a white
pearl-like jar. It contains balm. I look up at an old lady
with white hair. She says to me:
"Mystery
of mysteries. Give her the keys to open these mysteries."
When I awoke from the
dream I asked, "what do the 18 or 19 men represent?"
I hear, "count the prophets."
